Some recent improvements to Cleaning Module
Sanitation is a core requirement of any food safety program to any standard and in any country around the world. Everyone has to do it, and there is no avoiding it. Therefore it is imperative that we make this module as effective as possible for our users. Following some great feedback from customers we have made a number of modest improvements to the cleaning features in Safefood 360°.
You can now associate Cleaning Programs with Maintenance Programs (see user guide for how to do this) when creating your Master Maintenance Plan. In doing so it will ensure that a cleaning record immediately follows the completion of a service or repair on an item of equipment. Previously you had to do this manually, and now it is fully automated.
We have also improved the usability and aesthetics of the cleaning record. Post verification activities are only shown if they are required thus reducing the amount of tables on the form. When completing the tasks list you can now simply ‘tap’ the completed column indicating whether you did or did not complete the task or whether it was not applicable. Based on your user accounts association with your employee record the Completed By column will be populated automatically with your name, which is a big time saver.
These are examples of subtle but impactful improvements which take place every day throughout the entire Safefood 360° platform, in response to the feedback from our community of users. Shortly we will be launching a product updates feed which will make available to our customers a stream of updates to the software, both major and minor. Stay tuned for more information on that.
This is great. The sanitation after maintenance piece is a big one. I would like more information on this, and would like to know if this also integrates the pre-op inspection of the area prior to starting the line. Thanks.
Why can’t I find Safefood 360 on LinkedIn to follow…might be nice. Have a good one.
