Bakery Express of Central Florida Inc. was established in 1996. The 55,000 square foot, temperature controlled facility runs 7 days a week, 365 days a year and employ’s 200+ personnel manufacturing Yeast and Cake Donuts, Muffins, Cookies, Brownies, and other assorted sweet goods; accurate order picking and packaging, for wholesale distribution.
The art of fine foods
Giovanni Di Sebastiano founded Da Vinci Foods in 1997 when he recognised that traditional pasta was fast being forgotten in favour of fast manufacturing technologies. By modifying the production machines to reproduce the traditional pasta makers hand movements and the hand rolling of the dough Giovanni was able to preserve the genuine artisan approach while expanding the company for substantial growth. Today the company employs 3 generations of the Di Sebastiano family and produces a variety of pasta products and sauces for major multiple retailers across Australia and beyond.
Family owned since 1939
Santa Monica Seafood was founded in 1939 by Jack and Frank Deluca. Over four decades, they built the business into one of the top distributors of seafood in Southern California. In 1981 the Deluca’s sold the business to Anthony Cigliano and his children who joined the daily operations of Santa Monica Seafood as the company continued to expand. The business continues to grow with the addition of a new processing facility in Los Angeles, additional distribution hubs and in 2012 the purchase of Central Coast Seafood.
