Back Up & Disaster Recovery Policy

    Safefood 360° is backed up daily using secure Azure storage facilities which are geo replicated. Users never need to back up data within Safefood 360°, however individual records can be exported at any time and through multiple formats.

  • Fault-tolerant

    The platform infrastructure is monitored 24/7 by our team and is designed to continue operations semi-automatically in the event of failure, requiring minimal human intervention to ensure your system is always available.

  • Data Retention

    Safefood complies with numerous international codes for information security, electronic data electronic signatures giving you the flexibility to work globally without needing to localise processes.

  • Single Sign On

    User authentication is securely managed by the Azure Active Directory B2C (AD B2c) that enables the platform’s sign up and sign in flows. This provides the basis for SSO integration and supports OAuth, OpenID Connect and SAML identity providers.

  • Encryption

    All data in transit is encrypted using TLS 1.2 or better and data at rest is protected using AES265 encryption. These are supported by other application security mechanisms for additional piece of mind.

    Data ownership remains fully with the customer and Safefood 360° serves as a data processor for the business’ needs. If services are discontinued, we provide a full data export as part of the offboarding process at no additional cost.

  • Personnel Controls

    Background checks are conducted on team members requiring security privileges while all development personnel trained and experienced in secure programming techniques, and regular security and developmental training is conducted.
