Last year we released the Supplier Portal, which allows users to securely invite suppliers into the software and collaborate with them. That was our first step towards extending the main application with an external portal that would allow a new type of ‘user group’ work in the software. At that time we also wrote a blog about our vision how Safefood 360° would one day be able to connect all the different players in the food chain on a single software platform.
We are now starting to put the pieces together and we are proud to announce our next step: We are releasing new solutions and new portals that are targeted at different types of users of food safety management software. The new solutions all rely on the same reliable technology and workflows as our main application, but they extend the uses of the software further. Here is a list of all the solutions and portals available.

Let’s look at the existing offering first and then list out the new solutions and portals that will soon be available. It’s good to remind ourselves at this point that all of these solutions and portals seamlessly communicate with each other, which means that a single company could use all of them at the same time.
Solution: Food Safety Management Solution
This is our main application as it has always been and it contains all of the available modules in one solution. However you can connect your Food Safety Management Solution to both of the available portals, Audit Portal or Supplier Portal, and this way extend your solution even further.
Portal: Supplier Portal
We introduced the Supplier Portal earlier this year and it has been highly used ever since. The idea behind the Supplier Portal is that you can invite your suppliers to the portal and allow them to complete several tasks, such as: respond to corrective actions, complete audit details, fill in self assessments and surveys, upload material specifications, etc.
New solution: Supplier Quality Management Solution
This new solution is targeted at companies who don’t need HACCP or PRP control related tools but want to focus on controlling their supplier base. The solution allows you to risk assess suppliers, approve suppliers based on certification, self assessment or audits, review suppliers and materials, as well as deal with supplier corrective actions. It also seamlessly connects with the Supplier Portal which allows you to securely invite your suppliers into the software and collaborate with them.
New solution: HACCP Planning Solution
This new solution is aimed at small and medium sized food businesses who only need HACCP planning and monitoring features. It contains our powerful HACCP planning module which guides you step by step through the process of building a robust HACCP plan. You can then connect your ready HACCP plan to all necessary monitoring programs. Monitoring is one of the most powerful modules in the Safefood 360 ° software suite and it will allow you to set up all the monitoring programs for CCPs, OPRPs, Microbiological Control, etc.
New solution: Audit Management Solution
This new solution is built for internal audit teams, consultancies, government officials and certification bodies who need extensive audit management capabilities for a team of auditors. The solution contains all the necessary tools for managing hundreds of simultaneous audit programs, scoring audit results, and sharing reports. It also seamlessly connects with the Audit Portal which allows you to securely invite other stakeholders to the software and complete audits and corrective actions together with them.
New portal: Audit Portal
This new portal connects to the Audit Management Solution or the full Food Safety Management Solution. It allows you to securely invite new stakeholders to the software and collaborate with them on audits. In the portal you can for instance provide audit evidence or respond to corrective actions.
New solution: Hygiene Management Solution
This new solution is designed for contract cleaners and cleaning teams who only need sanitation and hygiene management features. It contains all the necessary tools for managing hundreds of simultaneous cleaning programs, tools for the automatic scheduling of tasks, automated job notifications and alerts, and a lot more.
Connecting all the solutions and portals together
All the solutions can be of course purchased as standalone solutions and they work perfectly without each other. Bigger companies however might want to combine multiple solutions together and still ensure that all the users are working with the same data, documents, and utilities. This can easily be done and the picture here illustrates the way one company can make use of all the solutions and portals at the same time.
