The Utilities centre allows you to set up and manage all the key inputs of your food safety management system including employees, suppliers, customers, materials, equipment and categories. As new employees or suppliers are added they can be risk assessed to meet compliance needs. This utility data drives the entire application in terms of consistency and robust reporting.
Employees
This module allows you to profile all employees in the operation, conduct risk assessment and develop their individual training plans. All records relating to an employee such as training records, medical screenings, illness reports and codes of practice can be viewed and quickly accessed from the module.
Products & Materials
This module allows you to define all raw materials and final products relating to the operation. These may be risk assessed and scheduled reviews established when new supplier specifications are required from your suppliers. Allergen containing ingredients can be identified to automatically produce your allergens lists and matrixes.
Categories
This module allows you to define and manage category information relating to your operation. For example, non-conformance categories for products, processes and services can be set up and used in various modules such as customer complaints and non-conformance management.
Contacts
This module allows you to profile all business contacts relevant to food safety including suppliers, customers and organisations.
Items
This module allows you to profile items within your operation that need to be controlled as part of your food safety plan including machines, inspection equipment and building fabric. This data is then used to drive programme generation for cleaning, calibration and maintenance. Food contact items can be identified triggering a specific workflow for the control of these items.
Related Lists
We have all experienced the situation when an auditor hands you a long list of records for an employee or entity in the plant. It can often take an hour or two to gather all the records for the auditor and of course there is always the record which can’t be found. This Safefood 360 feature lets you simply click on a specific employee, supplier or machine item and view all the relevant records. It keeps the auditor happy and so everyone is happy.
